I Won a “Philatelic Oscar” in Asiago, Italy

YES! Big news! I won the 42nd Asiago International Award For Philatelic Art - Premio Internazionale d’Arte Filatelica – Tourism Price (1 of 3 cathegories)! Competition is considered the “Oscar of Stamps” and is big deal in stamp business – at least for me. Winning stampset is the Branches of Friendship set (above), designed for Valentine’s Day 2011 for Finnish Post.

After this news I was interviewed in Helsingin Sanomat (Biggest newspaper in Finland), Yle Radio 1 (Finnish national radio), Monocle Radio (London), etc.
